William "Billy" Ray Cox

William “Billy” Ray Cox, age 68, of Linn, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 following an auto accident in rural Franklin County, Kansas.  Billy was born April 19, 1953 in Topeka the son of Glenn and Marylyn (Miller) Cox.  He grew up, graduating from Holton High School.  Billy served in the U.S. Army National Guard.  Billy married Shirley Plumlee November 21, 1986.  She preceded Billy in death December 12, 2020.  Billy is survived by two sisters, Margaret (Argell) Jantzen and Sandy (Glen) Sanders, both of Topeka and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Cox and his parents.  Billy enjoyed fishing.  Billy worked at Diathan Restaurant in Warsaw, MO.
