Tod “Lee” Adams, 57, Topeka passed away on January 15, 2024, surrounded by his children, mother, brother and close friends. He was born July 19, 1966, the son of Danny R. Adams and Beverly Clark Goodyear.
Tod was a member of Little Britches rodeo for several years riding bulls and saddle bronc. Tod and his mother spent many summers at Rodeos and Sprint Car races taking friends and cousins with them. He would take his horse, Daisy Mae to the thrashing bee in Meriden, and gave rides to many children. Most everyone there knew Daisey Mae.
Tod worked for Dalstrom Construction and the Holton Sale Barn.
He married Iva Schenck March 31, 1989. They later divorced. He married Christine Garza and they divorced.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Dewey and Faye Adams, maternal grandparents Lee and Adalee Moffitt, and Vernon and Florence Clark; his step father Harford (Shorty) Goodyear; and grandson, Dennis Antonio Gonzales II.
He is survived by his father Danny Adams (Donna), mother, Beverly Goodyear of Denison, brother, Joe Adams of Topeka; honorary brother Patrick Wells of Topeka; children, Danny R. Adams of Arizona, Amber Wells (Jesse) of Ozawkie, Ariel Adams Gonzalez (Dennis) of Osage City, Briar Adams of Wichita and Airean Adams (Kiley) of Topeka; grandchildren, Bryson Wells, Cecilia, Carter and Michael Barnard, Antonio and Chayce Gonzalez, Taylin Adams, Angelene Adams, and Canyon Adams; numerous cousins; uncles, Ronald Penry, Billie Adams, Carrol Clark; and aunts, Donna Adams Cummings, Janet Torelumke and Diana Clark Keith (Doug).
Tod’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Davidson Funeral Home from 3-5 pm. www.davidsonfuneral.com
