Timothy Joseph Skinner, a long-time resident of Topeka, Kansas died unexpectedly on March 9, 2026 at his home at the age of 55. Tim was born September 4, 1970 in Topeka.
Tim is survived by his son, Jesse Skinner; grandson, Daelyn; father, Richard Skinner (Tamara Milligan); his mother, Lorraine (Rollins) Perkins; sisters, Lori Mickey (Elmer) and Lisa Lux; brothers, Jim Skinner (Penny) and Eric Milligan (Kristine); step-sister, Melissa Racer; nieces and nephews, Zack Lux (Gabby), Hali Lewis (Chris), Elijah and Emily Clanton, Quin Racer, Derek Skinner (Megan), Kyle Skinner, Carlie Skinner, Trevor Treiber, Tanner Treiber (Steve) and Taylor Martinak (Tyler), Alexis Peden (Tyler) Kaleigh Milligan (Kaleb), McKree Milligan (Morgyn) along with many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Dennis Perkins and step-sister, Paula Clanton.
Tim worked in many capacities including construction, concrete, carpentry, welding and general handyman work. Tim loved the outdoors and spent time fishing and helping his dad with the upkeep of his property.
Tim has been seeking spiritually in the last year or so and we believe he is now safely in the arms of his “Yeshua”, Jesus Christ.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am on Thursday morning March 19, 2026 and memorial services will begin at 11:00 am all at Parker-Price and Davidson Cremations and Funerals, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka Kansas 66608. Private family Inurnment will be held on a later date at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Moving Ahead Partnership (MAP) in care of the Topeka Rescue Mission or to Shriners Hospital for Children. www.ppdfuneral.com
