Terry L. Dixon

Terry L. Dixon, age 78, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the Advent Health Shawnee Mission Center.  Terry was born January 30, 1942 in Valley Falls, Kansas.  He was raised by Bill and Genevieve (Reddick) Kaberline.  Terry graduated from Washington High School in 1960.  Terry married Patti Kozelle December 29, 1962 in Miami, OK.  Terry was a home remodeler for many years.  He was active with Boy Scouts where he served as scout leader.  He also was active with 3 & 2 Baseball Club in Lenexa where he was a coach and chairman.  Terry is survived by his wife, Patti of over 57 years; two sons, Brian (Dana) Dixon of Lenexa and Scott Dixon of Shawnee; two daughters, Christi (Tom) Penland of Shawnee and Debbie Hawkins of Olathe; a brother, Larry Dixon of Overland Park; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ozawkie Cemetery.  He will lie in state Friday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka.  Family will greet friends one hour before the graveside, Saturday from noon – 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Davidson Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.  1035 N.
