Tereza H. De Leon

Tereza H. DeLeon, 81, of Topeka passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was born March 13, 1944 in Aransas Pass, Texas the daughter of Amador and Lucia Gonzales Hernandez.

Tereza loved spending time with her family, loved to cook and bake. She had a strong faith in God. She loved animals and had lots of pets during her life.

She is survived by her children, Felicia DeLeon of Topeka; Jesus H. (Jesse) De Leon (Michelle) of Topeka and Preciliano (Tony) DeLeon (Yvonne) of Lawrence, Kansas and Jonathan Rodriguez in New Jersey; siblings Agustina (Irma), Josephina (Josie); grandchildren, Selena, Priscilla, Claudia, Anthony, Karyssa, Dominique ( who she raised and was more like a son) and Katiya; great grandchildren, Ava, Kaison, Everleigh, Nikko, Alina, Julius, Aiyanna, Lelani, Nevaeh, Leonardo; her friends, Elizabeth Beltran of Junction City, Milagros Fonseca in New Jersey and Janie Davis in Texas; her children’s father, Juaquin DeLeon (Geri), nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amador and Lucia; siblings, Patricio, Blas, Jose, Pauline, Carmen and Janie; grandson Donavon; and her best friend Anna De Leon.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the service hour which begins at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Parker-Price and Davidson Cremations and Funeral Services, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, Kansas 66609.
