Steven Douglas Shotts

Steven D. Shotts, age 68, of Topeka passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at his home in Topeka. Steven was born August 11, 1950 in Hutchinson, Kansas the son of Marvin and Juanita Jacobe Shotts. Steven grew up in Topeka, graduating from Topeka High School in 1968. He graduated from Topeka Technical College with an Electronics Engineering Degree . He served in the U.S. Navy from 1968 – 1978, serving one tour in Vietnam. He then worked at Jostens for several years.

He was a member of the American Legion in Topeka and the NRA.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Frank) Bane of Arlington, TX; a companion, Sue Geddry; a brother, Ronnie Shotts of Shreveport, Louisiana and two grandchildren, Ricky and Samantha, along with several nieces and nephews and he was soon to be a great grandfather.

Memorial services will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at the Leavenworth National Cemetery Thursday at 2:30 p.m.  davidsonfuneral.com.
