Steven K. Scritchfield, 62, of Topeka, passed away on August 7, 2021 at Stormont Vail Hospital.
Steven was born on June 11, 1959 to James and Caroline (Fleenor) Scritchfield in Topeka, KS.
He graduated from Seaman High School in 1977. After school he started at Kaw Valley VoTech and earned his Heating and Cooling certificate. Steven also worked as a meat packer for Valley Vista Meat Locker.
Steven was a cowboy at heart. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outside any chance he could. He loved to garden and he loved his friends and family.
Steven is survived by his siblings, Connie (Ed) Kearn and Philip (Donna) Scritchfield; Sister In Law, Judy Scritchfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. & Caroline A. Scritchfield; Siblings, J.C. Scritchfield and Rita Hathaway.
Per Steven's wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be held privately at a later date.
