Steven Ditch, Sr.

Steven R. Ditch, Sr., 75, of Topeka passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026. He was born on May 30, 1951 in Topeka the son of Warren and Peggy Jo Taylor Ditch. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1969 and later attended Washburn University. He married Juanita Adams on July 25, 1971, in Topeka. They attended Northland Christian Church. Steve Sr. was owner and operator of Ditch Trash Service for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife Juanita Ditch of their home; children, Steven R. Ditch, Jr., Brian E. Ditch, Wes R. Ditch and Matthew J. Ditch; brothers and sisters, Warren Ditch, Jr., Greg Ditch, Lisa Jenkins, Kimberly Hocking, Quintin Ditch, Rocky Ditch and Scott Ditch; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peggy and Warren Ditch as well as his siblings Mike Ditch, Sr. and sisters, Camellia Crosby, Sharon McKinney.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Parker-Price and Davidson Cremations and Funeral Services. Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday at Parker-Price and Davidson beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, NW 35th and Menoken Road in Topeka.
