Stella Geneva Barton

Geneva Barton, beloved mother & grandmother passed away on Feb. 16, 2026, she was born June 19, 1932. 

She leaves behind a cherished life filled with love, laughter & respect. She was preceded in death by her parents Jess & Argie Coble, one brother, Lenard Coble & 3 sisters, Almedy James, Vivian Berglund & Madie Tatum. She's warmly remembered by her children, Diane Bretsnyder, Michael Davis, Phyllis & Dallas Evans, son in law Garry Bretsnyder and a daughter in law, Michelle Davis in addition to her 8 grandkids, 10 great grandkids & 3 great great grandkids.

Geneva was a kind hearted woman, a loving mother & grand mother who spoiled them all without complaint. She was sweet with a side of zest. Her legacy is one of love & respect, a testament to the beautiful life she led and the people whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue in our hearts forever.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Monday February 23, 2026 at Parker Price and Davidson Funeral Home 245 NW Independence, Topeka, Kansas 66608. The visitation will take place the hour prior. A graveside service will be held at Rochester Cemetery following the funeral.
