Ronald J. Kass

Ronald J. Kass, 64, of Topeka passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022.   He was born October 11, 1957 in Topeka the son of George J. and Alyce L. Adair Kass.  He began working at a young age as a cook and bartender.  Ron also worked part time at Russ’s Custom Upholstery.   He later worked at Adams Business Forms from 1994-2006.  He later worked at Crown Distribution from 2007 until 2019 as a Warehouse Manager.   Most recently, beginning in 2019 he worked at North Topeka Metal Fabrication.

Ron enjoyed going to car shows, toy shows looking for slot cars, ho scale slot car racing, all kinds of music; home fixer up shows or car restoration shows along with old-time comedies on TV; animals; and a good meal, he was not a picky eater.

He married Malisa Ann Haney Lloyd on March 26, 2015, spending over 25 years together.  Malisa preceded him in death on December 30, 2021.

He is survived by his siblings, Bob (Bobbe Jo) Kass, Neva (Mike) Rose and Renee (Jim) Haney; his brother and sister in laws; many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 pm on Wednesday evening at Davidson Funeral Home.    Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday afternoon at the funeral home.   Interment will follow at Hoyt Cemetery.
