Roberta H. Chabira

Roberta H. Chabira, age 94 of Topeka, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, at University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus.

Roberta was born October 11, 1930, in Topeka, the daughter of John and Edna Habig. She was a lifelong resident of Topeka. Until March of 2020, she resided in the same Topeka home she was born in.

She married Adam S. Chabira on August 23,1947. Foregoing a career, she was a devoted homemaker who often said she could not imagine anything she would rather do than raise her four children. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Roberta was preceded in death by her husband Adam, parents John and Edna, sister Marguerite Arguello, brother James Carl Habig, and daughter-in-law Mary Chabira. Survivors include four sons, Louis Chabira, Sedona, AZ, Anthony Chabira, Tampa, FL, Lawrence Chabira and his wife Thom, Austin, TX, David Chabira and wife Christine, Largo, FL four grandsons, Anthony, Adam, Eric and Lance, one granddaughter Mai Pham, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday August 26, 2025, at Parker-Price & Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Topeka.
