Robert "The Bob O" Simpson

Robert “Bob-o” Simpson passed away August 13, 2020. He was born on June 7, 1952 in Biloxi, Mississippi the son of Lloyd Simpson and Mary Trout.  Robert was a jack of all trades and master of a few, never settling on a single path, rather moving on to the next new thing. He enjoyed playing the slots and just chatting with friends.

He married Mary Hoy, April 6, 1972 in Topeka, she passed November 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Chuck” Simpson and a sister-in-law, Rita Simpson.

Survivors include two sisters, Linda Schneidewind and Kathy Simpson, two sons Matt (Hannah) Simpson and Brian (Barb) Simpson, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, along with numerous others that he claimed as his own.

Cremation is planned. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Davidson Funeral Home. A service will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Davidson Funeral Home with a graveside ceremony immediately following at the Scranton Cemetery.
