Robert Maust

Robert C. Maust, 62, of Ozawkie passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017. He was born July 26, 1955 at Topeka the son of Calvin Junior Maust and Audrey P. Boose Maust. Bob worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and later for a vending machine company called Drink-O-Mat. He and his family attended St. Aloysius Catholic Church at Meriden.   He moved to Oregon with his family in 2001. He was a maintenance supervisor for Keystone RV Company in Pendleton, Oregon.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Bob enjoyed riding ATV’s on the trails in the wilderness and mountains of Oregon. But also enjoyed the peace and tranquility, spending time just sitting in his chair looking out over the mountains. They returned to Kansas this spring and he and Sandra have a home near Lake Perry.

He was married to Sandra K. Brown.   Sandra survives at their home at Ozawkie; two daughters, Sherry Ann Maust and Brandy Lee Martinez and Jose all of Topeka; sisters, Janice Marshall of Topeka, Joyce Dickerson of Topeka and Joan Newland and Jerry of Meacham, Oregon.   Six grandchildren also survive, Sherry’s kids, Lanae, Maley, Xaiy and Talaya and Brandy and Jose’s kids, Riley and Zaida.

The family will receive friends prior to funeral services from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, August 19 ^th at Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka. The funeral service will be begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery at Lecompton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
