Robert Fay

Robert E. Fay, 67 of Topeka, passed away on September 11, 2017.   He was born June 14, 1950 at Topeka the son of Robert L. and Charlene Bell Fay. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1968, later attending Washburn University. Bob began working for the IBEW in 1975. He enjoyed a long career there prior to retiring.

Robert was a faithful member of the Lutheran Faith. He attended St. John’s Lutheran Church before moving his membership to Calvary Lutheran Church in 1976. He was a member of the Topeka Lutheran School Board of Directors.   Bob enjoyed playing golf and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

On May 22, 1971, he was united in marriage to Wanda Miller at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Wanda survives at their home in Topeka. Other survivors include his daughters Heather “Nikki” Devins and Cris of Topeka, and Erika Johnson and Patrick of Katy, Texas.; brothers, Rick Fay (Pam), Ron Fay (Sarah), Randy Fay (Jodi) and John Fay; three sisters, Joni Fay, Keri Fay and Kristi Fay; grandchildren, Chrissi James (Jacob “Jake”), Connor and Cassi Hurd and Emily Johnson.

Memorial services will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 4211 NW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, Kansas 66617 on Saturday, September 23 ^rd at 10:30 am. The family will receive friends Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church in care of Davidson Funeral Home who is assisting the family. Please donate flowers to a shut in, in honor of Bob.
