Regina Joy Roe, born on April 19, 1936, in Altamont, Kansas, departed this life peacefully on May 3, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Regina's journey of life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and a profound commitment to her profession as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital, where she provided compassionate care to countless individuals in their times of need.

Growing up in a nurturing environment, Regina graduated from Labette County High School in 1954. Her academic achievements were merely the foundation upon which she built a life filled with love and care for others. She devoted her career to nursing, a path that not only showcased her skills but also underscored her genuine desire to help those around her.

Regina's interests were as warm and vibrant as her personality. She had a profound passion for quilting and sewing, creations that not only demonstrated her artistic talents but also served as cherished gifts for her loved ones. Her love for family shone brightly as she enjoyed spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Additionally, she found joy in visiting garage sales and had a whimsical collection of strawberries, each piece telling a story of its own. Regina also shared many memorable travels with her late husband, Harley, particularly on cruises, where they created lasting memories together.

Regina is survived by her son, Randy Roe; her daughter, Gwen (Steve) Lassiter; her son, Steven (Kristy) Roe; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Judy Hernandez, and her brother, Butch Foreman, who will miss her greatly and cherish the memories they shared.

She was predeceased by her father, Clifford Foreman; her mother, Bernice (Miller) Foreman; her husband, Harley Douglas Roe; and brother Bob Foreman and sister Juanita Main, who all played significant roles in her life.

She will lie in state from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Parker-Price & Davidson Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608. The family will from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Graveside service will be held on May 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Rochester Cemetery, 1200 Northwest Menninger Road, Topeka, Kansas, where family and friends are invited to come together to remember and celebrate her beautiful life.

Regina Joy Roe will be remembered not only for her caring spirit but also for the love and joy she brought into the lives of those around her. She will be dearly missed.
