Rebecca J. Halstead

Rebecca “Becky” J. Halstead, age 52, of Topeka passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at KNI in Topeka. Becky was born January 25, 1966 in Topeka the daughter of Russell and Martha Fugate Halstead. Becky grew up in Topeka, attending KNI and later living there. She is survived by three brothers, Russell “Poochy” Halstead, Greg Halstead and Michael Halstead, all of Topeka; two sisters, Christine Wilkins and Roxanne Donley, both of Topeka and many nieces and nephews.  Becky had a special bond with a great niece, Lilly.  Becky was preceded in death by two brothers, Butch Halseth and Rick Brown.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kansas Neurological Institute Chapel. She will lie in state Wednesday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
