Raymond Moritz

Raymond Moritz, Sr., age 78, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his home in Topeka.  Ray was born April 18, 1943 in Topeka the son of William and Sarah (Konrade) Moritz.  He married Naomi Mae Bixby, they later divorced.  Ray worked as a roofer for various roofers in Topeka.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Raymond was preceded in death by a brother, William T. Moritz and a sister, Betty Ehrhart.  He is survived by two sons, Raymond (Laurie) Moritz, Jr. and Shane (Dana) Moritz of Topeka; a brother, Don (Linda) Moritz of Topeka; a sister, Jeanette (Leo) Schreiner of Topeka;  two brothers-in-laws, Vince Bateman of Topeka and Chuck Bixby of Seattle, WA; sister-in-law, Sally Moritz of Topeka; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Inurnment will be at the Rochester Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Davidson Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.  davidsonfuneral.com
