Rakelle R. “Kelly” Freed, 68, of Silver Lake Kansas passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026.

She was born November 17, 1957 in Emporia, Kansas. After graduating from Silver Lake High School in 1975 she went on to build a career with the State of Kansas Water Department. Beyond her professional life, Kelly was deeply passionate about craft projects and was known for her creativity with mosaics.

Kelly is survived by her husband Randy Mark Freed and their three children, Jason, Ryan (Jackie) and Travis (Trista) Freed and her nine grandchildren: Kailynn, Juliet, Sadie, Molly, Gemma, Celeste, Luca, Lyra and Owen.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Parker-Price and Davidson Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the reception building at 1940 NW Central Ave., Topeka, KS 66608.
