Paul A. Lynn

Paul Lynn of Topeka passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018.  Paul was born in Topeka August 6, 1938 the son of James and Zilpha Boast Lynn. After his parents passed at a young age, he went to live with Wayne and Colleen Crook and their sons, Rodger, Gary,  Dwight, Doug and Mike.  After graduating from Topeka High School in 1956.  Paul served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea.  Paul worked for Santa Fe Railroad in Topeka for several years, retiring in 2000.   He married Karen Cunningham November 30, 1968 in Topeka. Paul is survived by his wife of over 49 years, Karen Lynn of Topeka; a son, Gary (Sharon) Lynn of Knoxville, TN; a daughter, Cathy Lynn of Topeka; siblings, Martha Benson of Topeka, Phillip Lynn of Topeka, Frank Lynn of Topeka; step granddaughters, Astha and Danilla.

Memorial services will be Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Chapel in Carbondale.  Inurnment will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with military honors at West Lawn Memorial Gardens in Topeka.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace  Chapel Building Fund or the Topeka Rescue Mission and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
