Patsy R. Hogan, 89, of Topeka, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026.

She was born July 10, 1937, in Marysville, Kansas, the daughter of William W. and Mary E. (Lloyd) Cockerill. She graduated from Marysville High School.

Patsy dedicated 34 years of service to the Colmery-O'Neil Veterans Administration until her retirement.

She was a member of the Oakland Nazarene Church and enjoyed the friendships built through the years.

Patsy enjoyed collecting horse figurines and proudly wore the color purple and supported the K-State Wildcats. She loved cooking and mastering the skill through the years. She never missed the opportunity to enjoy a bowl of strawberry ice cream.

She is survived by her special friends and caregivers, Bethel and Clarence Davidson and Pam Garrison; her sister in-law, Lila Cockerill of Marysville, KS; nephew, Ed Cockerill of Denver, CO and Robert and Wanda Cockerill of St. George, KS; niece, Debra and Rich Cole of Strasburg, CO and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert D. Cockerill.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:00 am., Monday, September 21, 2026, at Oakland Church of the Nazarene, 939 NE Oakland Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66616. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Deer Creek Cemetery in Marysville, KS.
