Patricia J Rather

Patricia Joan Rather, 76. of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd. She was born on July 29th, 1946 in Waynesville, MO to Bernard & Leona Burkey. In Patricia graduated from Seaman High School in 1965, and went on to study at Emporia University, graduating in 1969. She worked for the American Red Cross until 1982. Patricia married Don Adkins, who precedes her in passing. She is also preceded in passing by her husband, Faryl Babb. Before moving back to Topeka, Patricia married Robert Rather of Centralia, MO. He precedes her in passing. She leaves behind one brother, Ken Burkey of Mayetta.
