Patricia J. Jackson-Bigley, 91, of Topeka passed away at Stormont-Vail Hospital on August 22, 2026. She was born July 17, 1935 in Topeka the daughter of Hal and Alma Wettengel Hutchens. Pattie graduated from Topeka High School with the class of 1953. She owned and operated Pattie’s Schlitz Tavern, The Showboat Lounge, and worked for State of Kansas American Legion Auxiliary as Executive Secretary; Post 400 of the American Legion 8/40 Chaplain and Past President of Post 400 Auxiliary.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son Frank Jackson, Jr.; two sisters, granddaughter and great grandson; two brothers, Hal and John and son-in-law Wayne Fowler.

Survivors include her children, Lori Jackson (Andy) of Topeka, Yvonne Fowler in Arizona, Amy Stone Harrison (Jay) of Topeka and Debra Tarwater (Gene) of Meriden; John Jackson of Westwood Hills, Kansas; brother, Charles Hutchens of Topeka; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will take place at Rochester Cemetery on Friday, 28, 2026 at 3:00 pm. A celebration of life will follow graveside services at Post #400. She will lie in state at the funeral home from 10:00 to 2:00 at Parker-Price and Davidson in Topeka. www.ppdfuneral.com.
