Norma Quaife,89, of Topeka passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was born at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on January 26, 1928 the daughter of Bernard and Edith E. Abbott Shreeve. She was married to James Herbert Quaife at Seattle, Washington in 1952. They lived in California before moving to Topeka in 1954. Norma worked at Kaw Valley State Bank, and then later for Topeka State Bank. She was member of the Moose Lodge #555 and member of the Ladies of the Moose, her square-dancing club, Billard Bums (the flying club she and Herb belonged to). She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, singing, camping, watching HGTV, especially the show “Fixer Upper”, and Family Feud on television.

She is survived by her children, Patti Beasley and husband Bill of Topeka, Jim Quaife of Topeka and Sherri Coffield and husband Donnie of Topeka; sister, Betty Lorella of Seattle, Washington; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Herb preceded her in death on April 24, 2013. She was also preceded by an infant son, John Charles in 1963.

Cremation is planned.   A memorial graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 12 th at 10:00 am at the Netawaka Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, Midland Hospice or to American Macular Degeneration Foundation in care of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N Kansas, Topeka Ks 66608
