Nadine Fern Reed

Nadine F. Reed passed away February 10, 2026. She was born in Mayetta, KS on April 18, 1927. She was 98 years old.

Nadine married and moved to Topeka, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband John E. Reed Sr., son William Dean Reed, and grandson Drew Lee Davis.

Nadine retired from the VA hospital after working there for more than 40 years. She then went on to retire from the state hospital years later. However, the best job she had was being a grandmother. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her son John (Linda) Reed Jr, daughter Judy Rice, grandchildren Kelly Hubert, Shelly Thorpe, Kyle (Heather) Reed, Christie (John) Mugler, Becky (Ronnie) Bozarth, great-grandchildren Kyler Hubert, Kolton Hubert, Devin Thorpe, Corbin Reed, Caleb Reed, Lindsey Reid, Samantha Blenden, Sydney Blenden, Nickolos Giancana, and Alyssa Giancana, as well as ten great great grandchildren.
