Monty White

Monty White (56), of Topeka, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was born December 29, 1966, in Topeka, Kansas. Monty was the eldest son of Wayne and Carolyn White. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1985.

Monty spent many years as the General Manager of Jayhawk Delivery and Storage before pivoting to a career in professional flooring. During his free time, he enjoyed fishing, collecting sports cards, and gardening. However, his most beloved pastime was cheering on his favorite sports teams with his family. He passed down his love for the Chiefs, Royals, and Jayhawks to his children.

Monty is survived by his long-time partner, Lora Longstaff; children Miles (Wife Kendra), Chase, and Laney White; his parents, Wayne and Carolyn White; brothers Marty and Jeff; ex-wife Jamie White, and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Cremation is planned and a celebration of life will be held on January 6th. Immediate family will disclose details regarding the small gathering to close family and friends.
