Michael L. Finson

Michael L. Finson, 69, of Topeka passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his home.   He was born August 12, 1951 in Topeka the son of Claud and Nora Finson.   Michael graduated from Seaman High School.   During his working career, he had worked at area nursing homes including Eventide and Woodland Health Care Centers.   Michael loved to read and write, and had even published a short story.

He collected dragons, was an avid K-State and Kansas City Chiefs fan, and always seemed to have a pet cat.  Alex was his last.

He was married to Teresa Bricker at their home on February 28, 1997.   Teresa survives at their home.   Other survivors include his daughters, Katherine Bradley and husband Scott of Topeka, and Rachelle Kinney and husband Forest Price of Topeka; his mother, Nora Finson of Clay Center Kansas; grandchildren, Scottie Bradley and fiancé Michelle Mayer, Dakota Bradley, Isabelle Price, and Sage Price; great grandchildren, Chrystian Bradley and Logann Bradley; his brother, Kevin Finson in Nebraska; and his sister, Debbie Finson Weidman in Florida.   Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Claud; brother, Bradley Finson and great granddaughter, Abbi.
