Matthew A. Harris

Matthew A. Harris, age 61, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at his home in Topeka.  Matt was born March 20, 1957 in Topeka the son of Donald A. Harris and Wanda L. Thomas Harris.  Matt graduated from Topeka West High School in 1975.  He attended Washburn University in Topeka.  He married Tammie Allensdorf, they later divorced.  Matt attended Bethel Baptist Church in Topeka.  Matt worked at multiple radio stations in Topeka such as WREN Radio. He also worked at the Jayhawk, Grand and Dickenson Theaters.

He is survived by two brothers, Timothy (Joyce) Harris of Topeka and Jared (Janette) Harris of Mayetta and a brother in law, Donald Allen.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Allen.

Celebration of life services will be Monday, November 19, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church, 4011 N. Kansas Ave. Topeka.
