Lynda Lee Buchanan

Lynda Lee Buchanan, 79, of Topeka, passed away Monday, November 2, 2026.

She was born October 8, 1947, in Douglas County, MO, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Mulanax) O'Neal. Lynda graduated from Highland Park High School.

Lynda married Daniel Howard Buchanan. He preceded her in death in January 2014.

Lynda was a Realtor with Countrywide Realty of Topeka. She later worked as the Administrative Assistant for Central Park Christian Church.

She was a faithful member at Central Park Christian Church. Prior to her membership at Central Park Christian Church, she was a member of Northland Christian Church. Lynda had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed studying the Bible.

One of Lynda’s favorite hobbies was fly fishing. Her and Daniel spent many hours by the water. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Lynda loved her dogs, especially Daisy and Angel.

She leaves behind her nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2026 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Parker Price and Davidson Reception Center, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608.
