Louise Maureen Swartz, 63, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021.
She was born December 1, 1957, in Augsburg, Germany, the daughter of Donald and Elisabeth (Trunzer) Stockton. She attended high school at Shawnee Mission North and graduated in 1975.
Louise was employed by Hallmark as a Card Manufacturer for over thirty years.
She enjoyed collecting turtle and other similar nick-nacks. Louise loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and creating "Fairy Gardens". She was an exceptional softball player from a young age and was awarded MVP in both pitching and catching. She played slow pitch softball later in life. With her husband, George, the enjoyed going fishing, camping, and anything outdoors. Her greatest joy in life was her daughter, Sara.
Louise married George Swartz in Berryton, Kansas. He preceded her in passing on July 29, 2020. Survivors include her daughter, Sara Elisabeth Swartz; grandchildren Amara Baker and Adonis Baker; father, Don (Mary) Stockton; brother, John Stockton and step-sister, Margaret Mendoza. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Honoring Louise's wishes, cremation is planned. A memorial ceremony will be held at 1:00 pm., Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS 66604-3720.
