Douglas Peet

Lloyd Douglas Peet, age 64, of Topeka passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at his home in Topeka. Doug was born November 2, 1954 in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of Harrison and Alma Lambeth Peet. He grew up in Reading, KS, graduating from Reading High School. He worked at Jostens in Topeka. Doug enjoyed auto and motorcycle mechanics. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching TV later in life. Doug is survived by two sons, Douglas (Ashla) Peet and Dustin (Hailee) Simpson, both of Topeka; a daughter, Christine Simpson of Topeka; three brothers, Bud, Jim and Mike Peet, all of Topeka; a sister, Juanita (Larry) Jones of El Dorado, KS; ex-wives, Debra and Lisa; 11 grandchildren and one great grandson.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Davidson Funeral Home. He will lie in state from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Davidson Funeral Home. davidsonfuneral.com.
