Laura L. Sullivan, 50, Topeka, passed away from cancer on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Midland Care.
Laura was born January 19, 1971 in Topeka, the daughter of Phillip and Joy (Bazil) Barnes. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1989 and attended Washburn University.
She was a homemaker most of her life, but also worked as a Para at Washburn Rural High School and also at Capital City High School.
She enjoyed bowling, fishing, puzzles and reading.
Laura married Ray Sullivan on June 24, 1995 in Topeka. Survivors include her husband; children, Carley Sullivan, Wichita; Cody Sullivan, Topeka; mother, Joy Barnes, Topeka; and brother, Chris Barnes (Lynda and Sons), Denton, TX. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Barnes.
Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Inurnment service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:00pm at Prairie Home Cemetery.
