Laird C Lester

Laird  C. Lester, 85, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023.
He was born May 2, 1938, in Mayetta, Kansas, the son of Charles and Ethel (Wyker) Lester.
He served in the U.S. Army in Panama.
Laird was employed by Stormont-Vail Hospital over 35 years.
He married Josephine LaPaglia June 13, 1965.  She preceded him in death on September 22, 2018. Survivors include his daughters, Jean F. (Richard) Wolfley-Short and Christina A. Rousser; one sister, Arlene Edwards, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday September 21, 2023 at Davidson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm at Keene Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society.
