Kevin Remfry

Kevin D. Remfry, 68, of Topeka passed away on March 27, 2026. Kevin was born March 2, 1958 in Topeka the son of Kenneth Remfry, Sr. and Betty Flowers Remfry. Kevin graduated from Highland Park High School. Shortly after graduating, he joined the Army and served his country for five years. He was stationed in Korea for part of his time in the service. He enjoyed classic movies. He enjoyed taekwondo. Kevin Remfry was a huge animal lover and enjoyed caring for all kinds of animals, including ferrets. Being around animals truly made him happy.

He is survived by his sister Lisa Hoffman and husband Rich of Tecumseh; brothers, Aaron Remfry and wife Pauline of Topeka, Scott and wife Teresa of Tecumseh and Kenneth Remfry and wife Jelena who lives in Latvia; his nieces and nephews who include J.R. Hoffman of Topeka.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Andrew Remfry.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday April 23rd at Parker-Price and Davidson, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, Kansas 66608. Graveside services military honors and interment will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 9:00 am. www.ppdfuneral.com
