Kenneth Leroy Kingman passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026.
Ken was born on May 9, 1942, the son of Robert Kingman and Twila (Eisele) Kingman in Topeka, KS.
He graduated from Seaman High School in 1960. Following high school, he went into the Navy for four years.
After the Navy, Ken did construction until he got a job working for Dupont and Flexel for 30 years. After that he worked for Washburn College and later retired from the Capper Foundation.
Ken married Virginia Lee Carriger on January 22, 1965.
They had three children, Patrick (Jeannette) Kingman, Annalisa Kingman and Shane (Robin) Kingman. Ken had four grandchildren, Brian (Tara) Pollard, Lincoln (Frank) Owens, Chandler Kingman and Dominic (Julie) Kingman. He had six great grandchildren, Lawrence and Haisley Pollard, Leonidas and Isiah Owens, Sutton Kingman and one on the way, Kaiden Gardner.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard; his sisters, Norma, Harriette, Linda, Sylvia and his son, Shane.
Family will greet friends and relatives from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Parker Price and Davidson Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608. A graveside service will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Rochester Cemetery in Topeka.
