Kenneth G. Anthony, 85, of Grantville passed away on April 15, 2026. He was born February 4, 1941 at Gray Ridge, Missouri the son of Bernard and Hazel Harmon Anthony. He was raised in southeastern Missouri, moving from place to place do to his father’s business in the cotton industry. He graduated from high school in 1959. Kenneth graduated from a business college and later enlisted in the United States Air Force. He relocated to Topeka, Kansas by being located at Forbes Air Force Base where he completed his time in the service.

Later he met Dixie L. Bowman and they were married December 9, 1973 at the Christian Church in Perry, Kansas. Kenneth and Dixie lived at Perry for five years before moving to Grantville.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a member of the United Rubber Workers Union local #307, Masonic Lodge #90 and Arab Shrine Temple all of Topeka.

Kenneth worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for over 38 years before retiring.

Survivors include his wife, Dixie Anthony of Grantville; sister, Betty Perry of Kinmundy, Illinois; two nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Hazel; two brothers, William “Pete” Anthony and his wife Shirley and Fred Anthony and his wife Jean Dale.

The family will receive friends from 5-6:30 pm on Tuesday April 28th at Parker-Price and Davidson Cremation and Funerals, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, Kansas 66608. Private Family Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Hosey Hill Cemetery west of Weir, Kansas.
