Katelyn E. Turpin

Katelyn Emily Turpin, 25yrs has been set free from this life on 03/25/26 She will be remembered for her loving and quiet personality. Katie was a certified nursing assistant she worked for KNI neurological institute and Plaza west Healthcare. She later worked for Young Williams child support services.

Katelyn was born 11/22/2000 the daughter of Amy Turpin(Topeka) and the late Darryl Hampton(Arizona) Katie is survived by her Brother Kyle Turpin (Topeka) and Sister Gabrielle Suchi (Carbondale) Her grandparents Tom and Terry Turpin (Topeka) and the late Elna Jones(Topeka) Aunts and Uncles Kevin and Angela Schmitt(Blue Springs Mo) Aaron Turpin(Blue Springs Mo) Dan Hampton(CA) Cheryl Hampton(Topeka) Eric Jones(Texas) Kevin Hampton CA. Maternal cousins Hannah Schmitt Addison Schmitt Aiden Turpin(Blue Springs MO) and numerous paternal cousins.

Katie loved to Dance and watch Chinese and Korean Drama’s. She followed the music group BTS and Shinee. She had traveled to China in her Junior year of high school. She spoke Chinese and had taught herself to speak some Korean. Katie attended and graduated from Seaman High School class of 2019. Received her CNA training through KNI.

Katie chose to be an organ donor with a donation of her lungs, liver and kidneys, a piece of her will live on through these donations. Her favorite thing in the world was her dog Nala. Katie was so loved and will be extremely missed.

A celebration of Life gathering is planned for April 18th, 2026, at Gage Park 4300 SW Conservatory Drive Topeka KS .66606 from 5:45 PM-8:15 PM.
