John Hickman

John Hickman, 77, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.   He was born September 4, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York.   John was raised there and attended art school there.   He served in the army and the navy.  He lived in the Carolinas and Georgia before moving to Topeka three years ago.

John married Patricia Diane Peter.   She preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, John Hickman of Topeka, Dale A. Darver, Tennessee, Tammy Aea in Ft. Stewart, Georgia, James E. Hickman in North Carolina, Robert J. Hickman, Jr., Chesapeake, VA, Karl F. Hickman, Virginia Beach, Virginia, William “Billy” Hickman, Boca Raton, Florida, Mark Hickman in Georgia and Barbara Holmes in New York; one surviving sibling, John Keegan in Florida; 32 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
