John D. Gamino

John D. Gamino, age 58, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Midland Hospice in Topeka.  John was born March 5, 1962 in Topeka the son of Joseph Gamino, Sr. and Amparo Barranco.   John worked as a cook at various restaurants such as Annie’s Place, Outback Steakhouse and Poor Richard’s, just to name a few.  John was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  One of John’s greatest loves, besides people, was going rafting.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph Gamino.  He is survived by two brothers, Rudy (Della) Gamino and Dino (Mary) Gamino; a sister, Rita Chavez, and many nieces and nephews.
