John Milton Foster

John Milton Foster, 62, of Topeka, passed away April 19, 2017 at Stormont Vail Hospital. John was born October 27, 1954, son of Kenneth Foster and Jackie Jordan Foster.

John was an avid baseball player from the age of 8 through college. He was even invited to try out for the Kansas City Royals in 1972. John graduated from Washburn University, with a degree in Business Law and also served in the Navy for a number of years. He was involved in the automotive industry, where he worked for more than 35 years in sales and management. He later retired from Frank Ancona Honda in Olathe, Kansas in 2012.

John loved to play golf.

John is survived by his partner Jane (Wooster) Warkentine, and two sons, Matt Cox and Brandon Foster.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents.
