Jeremy Bailey, 42, of Topeka passed away on April 10, 2026 at Midland Hospice House. He was born in Topeka on June 20, 1983 the son of Curtis and Debbie Bailey. Jeremy grew up in the Highland Park neighborhood. Jeremy enjoyed going fishing and playing baseball and was a Fire Explorer with AMR and the Topeka Fire Department while growing up.

He worked a lot of interesting jobs and could tell lots of good stories about his work. He worked for Prison Inmate Transport, which transferred inmates all over the United States. Fire Fighter for NASCAR at the Kansas Speedway, worked security, and provided transportation for Amish families in Osage County. His primary job over 16 years was as a battery-tow truck driver for AAA of Kansas.

He is survived by his dad, Curtis Bailey (Kay Brohart) of Topeka; children, Savannah, Carter, Cayden and Cheyenne; wife, Susan Minner of Topeka; sisters, Megan Boyles (Jeremy), Crystal Chambers (Antwan); brother, Brian Bailey (Stephanie); several nieces and nephews and his dog and best-friend, Dutton.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Bailey in August of 2001.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, April 15th at Parker-Price and Davidson, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, Kansas 66608. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rochester Cemetery.
