Jeff Myers

Jefferey S. Myers, 49, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021.

He was born February 5, 1972, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, the son of Franklin and Donna (Salyer) Myers. He graduated from Topeka High School.

Jeff was an active member of the Construction and General Laborers' Local Union 1290 of Kansas since 2011. He became a Field Representative in 2015 for the Local Union 1290. Before becoming a Field Representative, he was employed by Wolf Construction.

He enjoyed golfing, especially at Lake Shawnee Golf Course, riding his motorcycle, bringing home random gifts to his family, watching Tik Tok, stopping at yard sales and creating anything out of his finds, going to stock car races with his family, and was a Chiefs fan. Jeff loved riding his electric bike around the neighborhood to "make his rounds" and enjoyed sitting on his front porch raisin' Hell. He loved hanging with the grandkids and family and his sense of humor will be missed by many.

Jeff married Christine Busey on June 20, 1992 in Topeka, Kansas. Survivors include his wife, Christine; daughters, Ashley (Michael Hill) Myers, Grace (Dylan Crawford) Myers, and Nicole (Darnell Hendricks, Jr.) Myers; granddaughters, Jordyn Grace Hill and Luani Theodora Hendricks; brother, Michael D. Frye; and his fat cat, Max. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patricia Allender.

Jeff's family will welcome guest from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Parker Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66608. A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:00 am., Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Parker-Price Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeff Myers Memorial Fund in care of Azura Credit Union, 1129 S. Kansas Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66612 and the family will designate a charity at a later date.
