Jane P. Gibler, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. She was born June 12, 1945 at Axtell, Kansas. She attended Emporia State University and graduated with honors. Jane was an artist by trade and had worked in the clothing design industry and for an advertising agency.
Jane married Kent Gibler on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 1989. They separated but happily reconciled and were remarried on August 6, 1999.
Survivors include her husband Kent Gibler of Topeka; brother, Mike Simmons of Lawrence, Kansas and several cousins, including Marion Long of Topeka and John Schafer of Holton.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at North Rock Baptist Temple, 2322 NE Laurent, Topeka, KS 66616. To leave Kent a message, please visit www.davidsonfuneral.com.
