James "Jim" Delfelder

James “Jim” L. Delfelder, 62, of Meriden, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

He was born January 19, 1964, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of John and Judith (Eagan) Delfelder. Jim graduated from Seaman High School in 1982.

Jim married Cindy (Raaf) Delfelder on July 6, 1988 in Miami, OK. They had two boys, C.J. and Connor.

He leaves behind his wife, Cindy Delfelder; his two sons, Christopher (Laura) Delfelder and Connor Delfelder; his beloved grandchildren, Calvin Joseph and Elliot Rose; his mother, Judy Delfelder; siblings, Chuck Delfelder, Joe (Marj) Delfelder and Mick (Emily DeShazer) Delfelder; two brother in-laws, Marty Long and Tony (Michelle) Raaf; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Delfelder; sister, Sandy Long and nephew, Travis Long.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:30 am., Friday, September 18, 2026, at Parker-Price/Davidson Funeral Home, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Casual dress requested for the service as Jim was not a fan of dressing up.

Instead of a memorial contribution, the family would like for everyone to share Jim's story and encourage early screening for colon cancer. The disease is very preventable if caught early.
