Iva Ilene Maddock

Iva “Ilene” (Hawman) Maddock was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She went to her forever home with Jesus on July 11, 2022, at age 85.

She was born to Earl and Erma Hawman on November 5, 1936. After graduating from high school, she married her sweetheart, Carl Maddock. Together, they had 3 children: David (Susan) Maddock of Fulton, MO, Tim (Deaune) Maddock, and Tina (Ken) Geisler of Topeka, KS.

Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, 2 infant children, and brother Tom.

She is survived by her husband Carl of the home, 2 sisters Ruth and Katherine, and brother Larry, their 3 children, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ilene loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. Her grandchildren would sit at the kitchen table eating cookies and talking about gardening, growing flowers, and learning about Jesus. The Lord blessed her with a love for children and she babysat for many people over the years, also she had an enjoyment for quilting. She was a member of Central Park Christian Church and was very active until her health did not allow her to do so.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Park Christian Church. Visitation is from 10:00 am until service time also at the church.  Private inurnment will follow.  Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care and left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com.
