Helen Margaret Fisher, 91, of Topeka, passed away on November 30, 2017 at home. Helen was born January 25, 1926, in Cameron, Colorado, the daughter of Andrew and Clara Gergely. She met and married Robert E. Fisher on September 22, 1954. Along with her husband, served the Foursquare Gospel Churches in Akron, CO; as well as in Sterling, NE; moving to Topeka, KS in 1960 to minister at the First Foursquare Church. Helen faithfully ministered with a compassionate heart for the children and gladly gave to those in need. Helen was employed at the Pauline Grade School, Washburn Rural Junior High, The Kansas Department of Transportation and graduated from the Clark School of Business. She retired worked at the legislature as a secretary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Robert E. Fisher and granddaughter Claire Elise Fisher.
Helen had three children, Bette Allen of Berryton, KS, Henry Jerome of Palm Springs, CA. Robert Fisher of Topeka, KS, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services will be at Davidson Funeral Home Tuesday, December 5, 2017. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am and the service will begin at 11:00 am.
