Helen Ayers

Helen Kay Ayers, 81, of Topeka passed away on Wednesday, April 5 ^th , 2023. She was born on May 10 ^th , 1941 in Emporia, Kansas. Her parents were Reese & Elva Lewis. Helen graduated from Lebo High School, and later on to study Cosmetology in Topeka, later earning her beauticians license.

Helen attended North Rock Baptist Temple in Oakland. She enjoyed going to church, gardening, and was an avid reader. For over 20 years, Helen worked Hallmark Cards in Osage City.

Surviving Helen are her three children, Kathy Andrews; Ken Morgans(Penny); and Evelyn Husky. Also surviving Helen are seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Helen was cremated. Burial will take place at a later date at Arvonia Cemetery.
