Harley Douglas Roe

Harley D. Roe, age 94, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2022 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.  Harley was born August 5, 1928 in Topeka the son of Archibald and Ida May (Falley) Roe.  He graduated from Seaman High School.  He then served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.  He married Regina Foreman.  Harley worked at KP&L in Topeka as a lineman.  He was a longtime member of the Highland Heights Christian Church.  He enjoyed traveling with Regina after retirement. He was a generous gardener and loved cutting firewood.  He is survived by his wife, Regina; two sons, Randy and Steve (Kristy) Roe; a daughter, Gwen (Steve) Lassiter; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Rochester Cemetery.  He will lie in state Monday from noon – 7:00 p.m. with a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Highland Heights Christian Church and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com.
