Gregory Clayton Mccluskey

Gregory C. McCluskey, age 67, of Topeka, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at the University of Kansas St. Francis Hospital. Greg was born September 19, 1953 in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of Gene and Vlasta (Janku) McCluskey. He graduated from high school in 1971 and then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Washburn University in Topeka. Greg served in the U.S. Navy as an electrician. He worked in Norfolk, Virginia at Northrop Grumman and later in Topeka. Greg enjoyed woodworking, his cats, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Frank McCluskey in 1984. He is survived by a son, Glenn McCluskey of Charlottesville, Virginia; three daughters, Kimberly Cathcart of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Vlasta Mooney of Rutledge, Tennessee and Cheryl Hickman of Topeka; five sisters, Jean McCluskey, Mary McCluskey, Valerie LaTour, Anne Iluebbey and Amy Burge; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. No services are scheduled at this time. His cremains will be inurned in St. Paul, Minnesota at a later date. www.davidsonfuneral.com
