Faith Marie Judd

Faith Marie Judd, 71, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026.

She was born July 21, 1955, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Woten) Monell. Faith graduated from Topeka High School in 1972. Following graduation, she attended Washburn University and attended law classes that would set her up for success in the future.

Faith married David Mark Judd on November 4, 1985 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Faith worked for the State of Kansas in the Workers Compensation Department as a Claimant Advisor for over 17 years. Following her time at the State, Faith owned and operated her own Business Consulting Firm in Topeka.

She enjoyed keeping her hands busy with sewing, quilting, crocheting, wood carving and bead work. Faith loved flowers, especially the Hostas. She loved the challenge of striking a deal when it came to purchasing and trading goods. Faith had an extensive collection of crystal glass art pieces. She loved creating and collecting different types of Jewelry. Faith published a book that showed the process of creative bead weaving.

Faith was a member of the Capital City Gun Club and the Capital City RC Club where she served as the Secretary for a number of years. She belonged to the Kansas Old Time Fiddlers, Pickers and Singers where she sang and played the guitar.

She leaves behind her husband, David Judd; her mother, Mary Monell; her siblings, Mark Monell, Louise Monell and Evelyn Stoneking as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Monell.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Parker Price and Davidson Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS. Her family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service.
