Eleanor F. Phipps

Eleanor F. Phipps, age 80, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her home in Topeka. Eleanor was born December 3, 1937 in Junction City, KS the daughter of Merwin and Rosa Mae Miles Howard. She married Lawrence Phipps, they later divorced. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin and Merwin Howard. She is survived by a son, Bryan (Denise) Phipps of Topeka; three brothers, Melvin (Janice) Howard, Michael (Agatha) Howard and Milton (Carolyn) Howard, all of Junction City; grandchildren, Aaron (Valerie) Phipps of Kansas City, MO, Andrea (Gustavo) Albino of Lincoln, NE, Adam (Rebecca) Phipps of Lincoln, NE and Amy (Andrew) Potter of Topeka; a step granddaughter, Amy (Joe) Luber of Fairbanks, AK and nine great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at the Wreford Cemetery, south of Junction City, KS. She will lie in state Monday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.
